In the summer of 2008, I had the privilege to accompany Betsy Toll of LivingEarthGatherings to film an interview with Ram Dass. This is an excerpt from The Heart of Change, a conversation with Ram Dass. He read from ”How Can I Help?” co-authored with Paul Gorman and originally published in 1985. The excerpt is especially relevant to the urgency of social action.

Annelies Lichtenfeld, beloved cousin passed away in 2005 at the age of 91 in her home at Pacific Palisades, California. She is survived by her daughters, Eva and Maja, three grandchildren, and one great grandchild. This is a compilation of 8mm film taken by my father and more recent photos as a tribute to her life.
